Letícia and José Eustáquio own the Pousada Ciclo do Ouro. In the past, they used to host university students at their house; in 2008, they decided to refurbish their house and inaugurated the pousada. Letícia is from Northeastern Brazil and José Eustáquio is from Ouro Preto.
For that reason, the Pousada Ciclo do Ouro's cuisine is a mix of different traditional Brazilian cuisines. They really like Ouro Preto and José Eustáquio is really passionate about the train (Maria Fumaça) which connects Ouro Preto to Mariana.
