The Pousada Vila Mineira enjoys a privileged location at the far edge of Lavras Novas and so offers surprising and gorgeous, unobstructed, panoramic views of the peak of Itacolomi and the Caparaó mountains from almost any vantage point. Surprising because they are only revealed once one actually enters the complex via the large main lodge with floor to ceiling plate glass windows or descends to the garden.
