Discovering Ouro Preto Natural Beauties is the perfect tour if you like nature and history. First you will visit dos Contos Park , which was recently reopened at Ouro Preto's historical centre. The Portuguese originally built it in 1798 to cultivate exotic plants.
From here, you will go to Itacolomi State Park located just outside town, which hosts Itacolomi Peak, a famous Ouro Preto landmark. There you will visit the museum and learn a bit about the place. The last stop will be Lavras Novas, a charming baroque district of Ouro Preto surrounded by mountains. You can enjoy a horse ride and the natural beauties of the place.
