This exciting tour starts with a train ride to Mariana. It is a wonderful trip going by the mountains and along a stream with waterfalls. Once you get to Mariana you will enjoy sightseeing at this small Baroque town. You will visit churches, such as Carmo, São Francisco de Assisi and Sé Parrish, and museums.
Afterwards, you will go to the biggest gold mine opened to visitors in the world. At Mina da Passagem you will go down the tunnel in a trolley. It is 315 metres long and 120 metres deep and in the end you see a natural lake. It is a wonderful view!
