At the Royal Road and its nature tour you will appreciate a natural environment and history at the same time. The tour starts at Caraça Ecological Park, a private area with a Catholic monastery that is 150 years old and has lots of green areas, trails and waterfalls.
Following this, you will go to Cocais, a nearby town, which has an archaeological spot called Pedra Pintada, with some cave paintings. In the end you will go to Catas Altas to visit Nossa Senhora da Conceição Parrish Church, a Baroque church and walk around town.
